Returns

At Nyota, we take pride in offering exceptional jewelry that we hope you’ll love. However, we understand that sometimes things don’t work out as planned. That’s why we gladly accept returns on most unworn, undamaged items within 14 days of the delivery date for in-stock items.

Return guidelines

Returns on unworn, undamaged items can only apply to in-stock items. Customized jewelry is made specifically for you and is therefore non-returnable and non-refundable unless there is a defect or quality issue. The item to be retunred must be postmarked within 14 days of the original delivery date.

To start a return, please go to your order, select the items(s) you would like to return, then press refund. A representative will get back to you within 5 business days.

If you believe your piece has a defect, please attach a picture of the item you received in the return request. For what is considered a defect or nomal characteristics please refer to FAQ. Please note that if the tag or label attached with the item has been removed or damaged, the item cannot be returned.

Shipping returns

After your return request is processed and accepted, your will receive an email containing the shipping address you will return your item(s) to. For orders in China, we will provide you with a return shipping lable. For international orders, we are unable to provide return shipping labels. If your returned item contains a defect, any shipping cost, taxes, tariffs and duties will be covered by us later.

Before sending out the item(s):

  • Please check the address details carefully before you send out your item. Returns not received by us will not be eligible for a refund.
  • Please ensure your return is securely packaged in a sturdy box to protect the item during transit. Returns sent in envelopes or inadequately packaged, resulting in damage, will not be eligible for a refund.
  • If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.

Shipping cost

For the items with quality defects, we will cover your any cost regarding the return shipping, , if no label from us is provided. After you send out your returns, you can reply to our return confirmation email with your receipt for sending the product. If you have paid any taxes, tariffs and duties for importing the product to your country, please attach your receipt too. We will process refunding for these charges too. Please note that full refunds for taxes, tariffs and duties are only applied for full order returns. For partial order returns, we will calculate the refunds for the items you return accordingly.

For the items without quality defects, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item for internaltional orders. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your retunred product to reach may vary.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will process our request and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 14 business days.

Non-returnable items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Customized items (unless defective)
  • Final Sale, Sample Sale, and Limited Edition items
  • Gift cards
  • Items whose attched tag or label is removed or damaged

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, you can still submit a refund request on your order page and add that you would like to exchange in the note.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, you will need to contact us directly to request for returns. You will receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be sent to you.
